CDCC holds Christmas Lantern Parade 2024

Philippines – Showcasing their creativity through street dancing presentation and showcasing of Christmas lanterns, hundreds of Crusaders made their presence known during the Lantern Parade in various archdioceses across the Philippines with their one mission of sharing the truth about Christmas, on September 21, 2024.
The activity aimed to communicate to their neighboring communities that the true celebration of Christmas falls on September 25 and also aspiring to gain local recognition on this momentous occasion.
This belief is one of the core doctrines of the Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ, a faith established by Mons. Dr. Rufino S. Magliba, revered as the Holy Spirit and founder of the said congregation.
The CDCC teachings are grounded in biblical and historical evidence, affirming September 25 as the real birth date of Jesus Christ, contrary to the traditional December 25 celebrations observed by other faiths.
With the determination of Prince Estrellito V. Magliba, CDCC Overall Administrator, led the simultaneous lantern parade from various locations in the Philippines, specifically in San Fabian, Pangasinan – the home to the central church of CDCC.
“Ang paskong totoo Setyembre Bente Singko! Kaya halina’t mga Crusado umpisahan ang parada. Merry Christmas!” PEVM strongly expressed.
Due to the strong collaboration of the PNP and Local Government Units (LGU), this momentous event proceeded peacefully throughout various municipalities.
On the other hand, different archdiocese who participated also displayed a range of creative themes for their lanterns and even distributed pamphlets about the real Christmas to non-members.
Several towns and municipalities have already proclaimed September 25 as a Crusaders Holiday. The congregation continues to strive for national recognition of this date as a holiday across the entire country.
