San Fabian, Pangasinan – Sta. Cecilia Basilica, the central church of the Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ, marked its 27th anniversary highlighting the church’s pivotal role as a source of inspiration, strength, and joy for its members, January 14, 2024.

Completed its construction in 1997, the Sta. Cecilia Basilica has stood as a symbol of unwavering devotion and cooperation among Crusaders throughout the years.

To commemorate this milestone, a solemn mass was offered by Msgr. Arturo Gutierrez, Msgr. Regido Manzano, and Msgr. Ernesto Garlitos.

During the lecture, Prince Estrellito V. Magliba, CDCC Overall Administrator, shared an empowering message emphasizing the church’s commitment in fostering truth, faith, unity, compassion, and sense of togetherness.

“Your dreams are my dreams too. I’m here to support you in achieving your goals,” PEVM expressed.

Meanwhile, a variety of festive activities took place at the CDCC Sports Complex to celebrate this occasion – drawing participation from members across different archdioceses as well as from overseas chapters, which not only strengthened the bonds among members but also celebrated their shared faith.

The church was named in honor of Nuestra Señora Cecilia V. Magliba, the Mother of Faith, who embodies the strong devotion and faith that has persisted over the years.

Reflecting on more than two decades of collective experiences and prayers, Sta. Cecilia Basilica has transformed into more than a place of worship – becoming also a sanctuary of solace and love, offering strength in times of adversity and joy during moments of celebration.
